Cameron Diaz is ”grateful” to all of her ex-boyfriends and thinks they helped her to get to know herself better.

The ‘The Other Woman’ actress, who previously dated Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto, Matt Dillon and New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, has learnt a lot from them and thinks they helped her to get to know herself better.

The 41-year-old star told InStyle mage: ”I’m grateful for all of it–whether it was something quick and passing or something that lingered too long. There is not one thing I’ve been through that hasn’t been a lesson that led me to this moment, and I can’t believe how great life keeps getting.”

The blonde beauty is currently single and doesn’t think women should feel under pressure to get married.

She said: ”A lot of people chase after it because they’ve been told, ‘This equals happiness.’ They chase it, they get it, and they find out, ‘Why did I think this was going to make me happy? I’m miserable!’ I don’t know if anyone is really naturally monogamous. We all have the same instincts as animals. But we live in a society where it’s been ingrained in us to do these things.”

Meanwhile, having chatted toCameron Diaz last week she said that she feels every woman has been sexually attracted to another woman at some point, and clearly her The Other Woman co-star Leslie Mann agrees.

Diaz arrived in a skintight black leather dress and nude patent heels to the UK premiere of her new movie and Mann was caught grabbing Diaz’s butt.

The butt-grab came just after Diaz said she believes all women have lesbian tendencies.“I think women are beautiful-absolutely beautiful,” she said. “And I think that all woman have been sexually attracted to another woman at some point. It’s natural to have a connectivity and an appreciation for the beauty of other women.”

This isn’t the first time she’s spoken about being sexually attracted to women. In 2010, Diaz also stated that she may be sexually attracted to women, but not be a lesbian. Instead, she just appreciates and loves women in general.

“I love women – and I don’t believe in female jealousy,” she said. “I don’t feel like it’s a good thing to have.”

The Other Woman tells the story of a woman left stunned when learning her boyfriend is married to another woman. The two women get together and find out he is cheating on both of them with a third woman. The Other Woman is set to be released April 25.
