Jessie J Interview

Songstress Jessie J has said that ‘I’ve learned not to talk about my love life’

The ‘Do It Like A Dude’ hitmaker has opened up about why she rarely talks about her private life and confessed that she struggles to reveal too much of her true self in songs, but changed that on a track called ‘Your Loss I’m Found’.

During a new interview with Hello mag, the beauty admitted that she really goes out of her way to avoid divulging private information because she’s very protective over her personal life:

“I don’t talk about my love life that much, other than in my music – I’ve learnt that. ‘Your Loss I’m Found’ was the most personal song I wrote on the album.” She added: “We’ve all been there, when you fall in love with the right person at the wrong time or the wrong person at the right time. This is about being in love with someone who isn’t allowing you to love them how you know you could.”

The release of debut album Who You Are and sophomore LP, Alive – which received mixed reviews from critics – then followed, with Jessie herself even acknowledging the fact that her second record failed to emulate the success of her first release and set the charts on fire.

Kicking off the campaign with worldwide hit Bang Bang – a collaboration with Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj – it’s clear to see that Miss. J is back to her best. And after having a listen to what Sweet Talker has to offer, Heartbeats, we can confirm you’re in for a treat.
