We all know the famous story by Lewis Carroll: a girl falls down a rabbit hole and her whole life is turned up side down. But what if that was your escape, and the entrance to that was in the palm of your hand?
A young girl, Aly, is find that family, school and friends make being a teenager very difficult. To escape her own insecurities she discovers an online world – wonder.land where she can be anyone she wants to be through her avatar.
This show looks to be a unique combination of live theatre and digital technology which examines the world we live in today, beautified with incredible sets, costumes and video projections. Added to this is the blinding musical talent of Damon Albarn (Blur) and this is an all new adaptation of a story told many times before.
If you can’t wait to see the show there is also an immersive digital installation. Again using the latest in computer technology to create a world for you to experience what it is to be in wonder.land. Open from December 2nd you would be crazy to miss this.
TRAILER
Previously playing in Manchester the London National Theatre is proud to host Wonder.Land from November 23rd until April 30th 2016.
Tickets and more information on the inmmersive digital installation can be found at wonder.land
