Hollywood stunner Blake Lively reportedly “worked her butt off” to look good in a bikini for her upcoming movie.

Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively is reportedly refusing to eat anything artificial as she gets back into shape following the birth of her daughter.

The 28-year-old star looks slimmer than ever after giving birth to little girl James with husband Ryan Reynolds in December 2014, recently wowing on the beach in Australia while filming an upcoming movie. The secret to her trim figure? Taking extra care over what foods she tucks into, it’s been claimed.

“Blake’s slim figure is down to her super-strict diet and breastfeeding,” a source told Britain’s Closer magazine. “She refuses to put anything artificial into her body and doesn’t go near processed foods. Everything has to be organic and made from scratch. She’s cut out sugar, wheat and won’t touch dairy products.”

Blake has previously insisted losing weight isn’t something she prioritised following the arrival of James, explaining what’s important is that she eats healthy for both herself and her little one. She’s thought to have only put on 21lbs during her pregnancy, so when it came to getting into shape for her new movie The Shallows it wasn’t an extremely difficult task. Blake plays a young woman stranded on a buoy as a great white shark keeps her from going ashore.

“Blake’s lucky as she didn’t gain a lot of weight during her pregnancy and most of the weight fell off her as soon as she gave birth,” the source noted. “She’s a Hollywood star and she’s been working her butt off to make sure she looks amazing for the bikini scenes.”

The blonde beauty is an advocate of women embracing their figures, previously insisting it’s ridiculous that females are expected to go back to how they used to be straight after having a baby.

“There’s pressure to lose it, or women are supposed to look like they did when they were 19 right after you give birth to your child. I think it’s silly,” she sighed to Newsbeat.
