Sky Ferreira has revealed some of her top beauty tricks and prefers a “simple flick” of eyeliner over anything else.
The model-and-singer is known for her cool indie style and is always happy to switch up her hair colour, from bright blonde to dark brown. While dyeing her locks doesn’t daunt her, the 21-year-old likes to stick to a formula with her make-up.
“For the eyes, I wear a simple flick with this eyeliner [YSL Shocking False Lash Effect Eyeliner], then I add mascara,” she revealed to new!
The star’s gorgeous looks mean she was selected as the face of haircare brand Redken. Sky is grateful for its Water Wax product, as she never knows what to do with her locks.
“I don’t really know how to style my hair that well, so this is a quick solution to make my hair look cool and different,” she said. “I like the quick, slick look.”
Sky’s other beauty tricks include having a bright lipstick with her at all times and sleeping on silk pillow cases to keep her hair smooth. She also uses a primer on her locks to keep frizz at bay.
Despite her modelling career, Sky now focuses more on music and has even toured with Miley Cyrus, also 21. She’s walked for Saint Laurent in the past, which came about by complete accident.
“My friend was working on a shoot with Hedi [Slimane, creative director]. He asked if she could photograph me and we developed a friendship. I walked for his second collection – it was really easy because I would wear all the clothes in real life,” she smiled previously.
