Aaron Martyn and Maisie Smith ATTENTION cover exclusive

Aaron and Maisie premiere new ‘Attention’ cover on MarkMeets.

Given the previous success arising from their collaboration, the two extremely talented teenagers Aaron Martyn and Eastenders’ star Maisie Smith just teamed up one more time to cover Charlie Puth’s success “Attention”.

The result is once again amazing, thanks to their beautiful voices and great confidence, no matter their young age. And this is just a taste of what their upcoming 5 date school tour is going to be like!

Aaron says: “So I met Maisie at DM Unsigned studios where we both record our music. We’ve worked a lot together since then from touring to collaborating on records. We just decided that it would be cool to do a new cover of Charlie Puth’s Attention’ as we both loved the song.”

Aaron Martyn was scouted at 9 years old and played for various clubs including Tottenham Hotspurs, Charlton Athletics, Fulham, and Leyton Orient, all by the age of twelve. After spending some time recording, writing, vocal coaching and experimenting, Aaron released his cover version of ‘Drake – One Dance’ stacking up over 120,000 views. On his 13th birthday (20/10/2016) Aaron released his 1st free download EP ‘Thirteen’ on Soundcloud and Spotify. The debut record ‘Tears Don’t Dry’ was premiered on Link Up Tv and made a stamp on the UK scene. Heads began to turn, leading TV shows wanted him, Hackney Gazette done a double page spread and the demand for shows came in.

Coupled with that success, Aaron Martyn just signed a deal with Defenders Ent and is now finishing his next EP ‘From The DM To The DM’ with Darren Martyn (Producer/Manager), getting ready for Scotland school tour this August, pushing his current single ‘Slide Into My DM’ featuring CKay and Skarz and teamed up Coalition Talent Agency.

Maisie Smith, who we saw grow up on the set of the award-winning BBC show Eastenders, is longer a little girl and proves she is also no longer just an actress but a talented & beautiful pop star in the making.

Maisie Smith started her acting career at the tender age of four, starring alongside Scarlett Johannsson in The Other Boleyn Girl where she played Queen Elizabeth I. She started her long Eastenders role at 6, playing Tiffany Butcher where she won various awards.

Maisie has also appeared as a guest in shows including Children in Need, Bookaboo, Sam & Mark’s Big Friday Wind Up and Hacker Time and The Michael McIntyre’s Show.

She has always had a passion for music. She plays the guitar, composes, dances & choreographs her own routines. And all whilst studying for her GCSEs! She has been releasing cover tracks on her YouTube, such as her amazing cover of Justin Bieber ‘Let Me Love You’.
