Pixels movie starring Adam Sandler

For years we have been trying to find signs of life out there: broadcasting signals and sending images from our culture. Finally they responded in the form of an attack on earth.

Their assault takes the form of classic video game characters. Fortunately, the president of America is more prepared for this and calls upon his childhood friends to prevent Earths final Game Over.

This film is packed full of retro characters, from Centipede and Space Invaders to Pac-Man and Donkey Kong to match the incredible cast. Will Cooper and Sam Brenner are sent to recruit the help of their childhood nemesis: Eddie “The Fire Blaster” Plant from prison to over come the battle ahead. Once they agree on the terms they gain the help of Toru Iwatani (the creator of Pac-Man) but will this all be enough to see off the Pixelated pests?

Meet Ludlow Lamonsoff (Josh Gad)

This looks to be a really fun film and the latest clips showing a bit more of each of the characters really make me want August to come around quickly. Josh Gad admits that fighting video game characters is one of his dreams and who can blame him, it looks like everyone had a blast on set!

Pixels is staring: Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Peter Dinklage, Josh Gad, Ashley Benson and Brian Cox.

Pixels is released August 12th 2015 in cinemas across the UK.
