Spirit Awards 2016 Watch the live Stream

Film Independent’s 31st Spirit Awards will unfold Saturday, Feb. 27 — the day before the Academy Awards — in a tent on Santa Monica Beach.

For those unable to attend the festivities, IFC will air the ceremony live at 2 p.m. PST and host a live stream for on its website. Live stream the awards here.

“Saturday Night Live” star Kate McKinnon and “Silicon Valley’s” Kumail Nanjiani will co-host the awards.

Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara’s romance “Carol” lead Spirit Awards nominations with six, followed by “Beasts of No Nation” with five and “Spotlight,” “Tangerine” and “Anomalisa” with four each.
