Jason Derulo has spoken out about his new album: ‘It’s great for the bedroom’

Speaking to MTV, the American singer, songwriter and dancer + heartthrob explained that the record has a diverse tracklisting, but there are definitely some seductive cuts on there: “There is a portion of the album that has that ’80s vibe, but there are some slower records that are for the bedroom. There’s a lot of different faces.”

When asked why he decided to name the album ‘Everything Is 4’, Derulo added: “Four is a number that follows us around, representing a strong foundation. I’ve got a lot of people on this. I got JLo on the album – Stevie Wonder.”

Jason Derulo recruits Stevie Wonder and Keith Urban for “Broke”.

Jason Derulo is preparing yet another chart domination with his new single, “Broke”. What appears to be insane on paper turns out to be a perfectly calculated hit, recruiting Keith Urban to capitalize on the country audience, and reworking the oft-imitated sax drop fro “Talk Dirty” with a harmonica solo from none other than Stevie Wonder. It blurs the lines of country, R&B, and pop, and while at times does sounds a little crazy, for the most part sits comfortably with the rest of the radio hits these days. His new album, Everything Is, is coming soon.
