Having sold 26 million albums and had 75 million digital single downloads worldwide the Country-pop superstar Taylor Swift has revealed that remaining calm in the face of adversity is the best approach because taking an angry stance gives the other person involved extra ammunition.
The ultimate celebrity engagement tool
Speaking to Glamour the ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ singer confessed that it’s important to be level-headed when trying to fight your corner and said: “Never yell. Silence speaks so much louder than screaming tantrums. Never give anyone an excuse to say that you’re crazy.”
Swift also admitted that she will continue to write songs based on her personal experiences because beauty is often found in truth and she loves to commit her life to writing in a musical way:
“One of my big goals as a human being is to continue to write what’s really happening to me, even if it’s a tough pill to swallow for people around me… I do fear that if I ever were to have someone in my life who mattered, I would second-guess every one of my lyrics.”
Forbes magazine estimates she is worth $220 million (£135 million), making her their third-richest celebrity under 30.
That’s not all. She is a seven-times Grammy winner and the reigning Billboard and American Music Awards Artist of the Year.
