The I’m A Celebrity 2013 start date is set for later this month, as Ant and Dec prepare for the return of the show.

ITV is still to officially announced the exact start date for the new series, but we know it’ll be in as little as three weeks’ time.

Hosts Ant and Dec aren’t in Australia yet, but said this week: “We can’t wait to get over there and get stuck in.”

The pair are planning all sorts of mischief making bushtucker trials when the show kicks off, with all sorts of delicious bush grub on the menu for the stars to tuck into.

Dec teased: “It’s going to be tough for them. But not for us – we will be tucking into steak and chips.”

The pair insisted that they don’t know who’s going to be entering the jungle yet, but did reveal recently they’d love to see radio DJ Tim Westwood on the show!

Some names linked to the celebrity jungle this year include Corrie star Michael Le Vel who has been offered £500K, TOWIE’s Joey Essex and Sam Faiers, snooker star Steve Davis as well as footie’s Paul Gascoigne.

Also rumoured to be entering the jungle are Emmerdale’s Lucy Pargeter, Channel 5 chat show host Matthew Right, Olympic star Sally Gunnell and former Apprentice winner Stella English.

Last year’s show began on 11 November – the second Sunday of the month. So hopefully it won’t be too long to wait now…
