Former Westlife star Kian Egan was voted by viewers yesterday to compete in the next Bushtucker Trial, ‘Cave Danger’.

This comes as some relief to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here viewers and Joey Essex who has endured a number of trials already this series.

The latest food task will involve Kian climbing in to a maze of cramped, dark, dingy tunnels, where he’ll be joined by the usual jungle creatures as he embarks on a search for stars.

It is only the second time since the head-to-head Bushtucker Trials ended that the public has nominated a contestant other than Joey to take part. Kian has not faced one of the scary challenges since the first, which featured all the celebrities.

Meanwhile, Rebecca Adlington was ruled out of the vote on medical grounds for the third time, alongside Laila Morse.

The last trial took place live in yesterday’s episode of the reality show, with Joey being subjected to ‘Critters’ Got Talent’, a jungle version of the hit talent contest ‘Britain’s Got Talent’.

The Only Way Is Essex star chose Alfonso to assist him as he went round five stations themed around various talents, with the pair eventually bagging ten stars.

I’m A Celebrity continues on Wednesday night at 9pm on ITV, when the results of ‘Cave Danger’ will be revealed. There is no show tonight due to football, although spin-off I’m A Celebrity… NOW! will air on ITV2 at 10.00pm.
