It’s unsurpising that One Direction have topped heat magazine’s 2013 rich list for British under-30s.
The hot boyband top this year’s rankings with estimated earnings of £59.33 million, ahead of last year’s number one Daniel Radcliffe.
Radcliffe is in second place with £56.18 million, while Twilight star Robert Pattinson is third with £44.16 million.
Keira Knightley is in fourth position – the highest-ranking female star on this year’s list – with estimated earnings of £37.28 million.
Radcliffe’s Harry Potter co-star Emma Watson completes the top five with £27.93 million.
“One Direction are young, talented, staggeringly good-looking and adored by millions. To that we can now add ‘rolling in cash’. No-one said life was fair.”
During the last year, the former X Factor group have embarked on their ‘Take Me Home’ world tour, which has included 131 dates across Europe, North America, Oceania and Asia.
They have also released their first film This Is Us and launched their first fragrance Our Moment.
Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and model Cara Delevingne are all contenders for inclusion on the 2014 list based on their earnings this year.
