The Irish music mogul suggested that Sharon is desperate to win with one of her acts, this being her last year on the show.
Although it’s gone so well for Sharon so far, with two of her Overs girls in the bottom two last weekend and already one women down.
Louis said: “Sharon’s so honest about wanting to win because this is her last year as a Judge. Gary hasn’t won yet – but at the end of the day it’s not about the Judge, people will vote for someone they like.
“That’s why we all have serious work to do each week. I’ve already told Nicole she’s ‘last year’s winner’, which gets on her nerves in a funny way.”
Louis said that this year’s panel were getting on better than ever before.
And having been on every series of the show for the past ten years, it’s a claim Louis can make!
“The four Judges get on incredibly well off stage as much as on stage. This year, more than any other year, to be honest,” he declared.
Louis explained: “I’d actually say the whole panel has never got on like this before.
“We all talk honestly and openly about the contestants – what performances we’ve liked and not liked. I prefer that atmosphere to the rivalry.”
The X Factor continues tonight on ITV from 8PM.
Sharon Osbourne will not return to the X Factor after this series.
