Little Mix’s Jesy Nelson has opened up about how online bullying affected her outlook on herself.

The Little Mix girls are looking forward to stuffing their faces this Christmas.

Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock have all been enjoying downtime this festive season after a busy 2015 promoting new album Get Weird. And one of the most important parts of this relaxing period involves plenty of eating.

“Christmas is the time to eat all the chocolate and stuff your face. I can’t wait!” Perrie grinned to Britain’s Closer magazine. “I couldn’t give a c**p about what I eat. Curry, McDonald’s – you name it, I’ll eat it. I especially love everything carby, like crisps and chips. I eat McDonald’s all the time. My dad says I must have hollow legs, which is good!”

By looking at Perrie’s slender figure and stunning looks, it’s no surprise she doesn’t care about her diet as she always looks amazing. All four girls boast different sexy shapes, with Jesy envied for her gorgeous curves. Confidence has been an issue for the 24-year-old though as in 2011 she was bullied online about her weight, and it’s an ongoing process for the star to find strength in her own skin.

“When you have your own insecurities and then people go and tell you and write about them on websites for everyone to see, it just makes you feel really rubbish about yourself,” she sighed.

“Being in a group with three beautiful girls who are a lot smaller and slimmer than me… obviously I know I’m a lot bigger. But I find it really hard when people decide to publicise it on Twitter.”

Luckily, the mean jibes didn’t put pressure on her to slim down and she remains a healthy UK size 10-12. It helps that all four singers aren’t obsessed with healthy eating and enjoy a treat together.
