Ariana Grande releases Somewhere Over The Rainbow as OneLoveManchester performers see huge uplift in sales

Ariana Grande has officially released a live version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow as a charity single.

The popular song was performed at last Sunday’s #OneLoveManchester benefit concert, whereby 100% proceeds from the 23-year-old’s cover written for movie The Wizard of Oz will go to the British Red Cross’ We Love Manchester Fund. Ariana’s single ‘One Last Time’ was also re-released as a charitable song on Sunday.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow is not currently available on iTunes or Apple Music, but can be streamed on Amazon Music, Spotify, Deezer and Napster, and is available for purchase on Amazon.

Following Sunday’s benefit concert, £10 million has been raised so for the We Love Manchester fun, which is helping support victims of the May 22 terrorist attack, and those bereaved after the tragedy.

Performers from the One Love Manchester concert, including Coldplay, Liam Gallagher, Black Eyed Peas and host Ariana Grande, are experiencing a huge uplift in sales and streams since the benefit concer

Three more songs performed by the star have seen a significant boost since the show. Break Free has re-entered the Top 100 at Number 63 in today’s sales flash, a combined sales and streams boost of 139% compared to the same period last week.

Sales and streams of her debut single The Way are up 577%, sending it to Number 81 today, while My Everything, which she sang with the Parrs Wood High School Choir, is at 94 – a 141% uplift since last week.

Noel Gallagher has donated ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ song royalties to terror victims. The hit was performed by Coldplay at the One Love Manchester event, with frontman Chris Martin later filling in for Noel on guitar and backing vocals to play another Oasis hit, Live Forever, with Liam.
