The X Factor boss Simon Cowell has tipped three acts on this year’s show to get signed.

The music mogul is no longer a judge on the UK series, but certainly keeps a close eye on the contest from the US, where here he remains on the American panel.

Simon said of the remaining ten acts: “On the uk X factor show I see three acts who will go on to sell records.”

The telly producer didn’t name any names, but added: “A couple more if they dig deep can do the same.”

Sharon Osbourne was quick to reply to Simon, telling him he needed to make sure that her act Sam Bailey did get a record deal at the end of the show whatever the outcome.

She tweeted: “@SimonCowell I hope you are watching @TheXFactor. You need to sign @SamBaileyREAL she was AMAZING tonight!! #XFactor #SignSam”

Last year saw James Arthur, Jahmene Douglas, Union J, Ella Henderson, Lucy Spraggan and even Christopher Maloney all get record deals and release music, to varying degrees of success on the charts.

The X Factor 2013 continues Saturday and Sunday nights on ITV.
