Cheryl Fernandez-Versini slams X Factor group

X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has given New Kings Order some tough love.

Orignally called ‘The First Kings’, The Girls Aloud star has told them to be less “cheesy”.

New Kings Order

Our favourite Georide says they need to start being more manly.

The 32 year-old said of the five piece: “I think they are cheesy. You want them to have the desired effect on the women where the women go crazy when they come out.

“It’s that masculinity and confidence you want to feel like they’re going to kick off when they come on stage.”

In a chat with The Sun, Cheryl also took a swipe at the group for complaining about being ill at judges’ houses in Italy earlier this month.

“One of them told me he was ill, which again, I’ve been in a group long enough to know that doesn’t fly when you’re stood on stage in front of 15,000 people and say, ‘I’m a bit poorly, so I might not do as well tonight’,” Cheryl complained. “I’ve sang through blocked noses, I’ve vomited during a quick costume change and gone back out — it happens.

“You have long days and each member is going to get sick at some time so it’s unfortunate that it was now they got sick, but the show must go on.”

And Cheryl went on compare the group to Louis Walsh’s favourites Westlife.

She remarked: “No disrespect to Westlife, they were incredible and did their thing well, but these guys came to us as performers.”

The X Factor’s judges houses airs tonight and tomorrow night.
