Former Strictly Come Dancing star Vincent Simone and former model Annabel Giles will become campmates on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.

The arrival of the newbies was announced on the show’s official website tonight – although it is not currently clear how or when they will enter the jungle.

It comes just hours after the two rival camps Snake Rock and Croc Creek merged, with all of the celebrities now living together as one group for the first time.

Vincent, 34, is best known for being one of the professional dancers on the hit BBC talent contest alongside his wife Flavia Cacace between 2006 and 2012. They left to work on other projects, including their upcoming stage show ‘Dance ‘Til Dawn’.

The Italian said: “I love dancing, but when I got asked to take part in this show, I really wanted to do it. I am scared of anything. I am realising this more and more!”

Annabel is a broadcaster and former model, who’s appeared on programmes such as Through The Keyhole, Shooting Stars and Have I Got News For You. The 54-year-old was married to Ultravox lead singer Midge Ure between 1985 and 1989.

Annabel commented: “It’s a chance to have some me time.

“It is a weird way to have ‘me’ time but actually, I do think it will be better than going to a health spa, as I couldn’t bear lounging around in towelling dressing gowns. This will be exciting for me.”

Vincent and Annabel were named in the line-up leaked by The Sun shortly before the series started, which has now proven to be accurate.
