Mark Boardman to star in Spamlot – West End News

Having  starred on TV back in 2004 on’ This Morning’ talking autographs, Mark has gone to to chat showbiz on The One Show, Absolute radio and many more media outlets about the world of celebrity. Having been featured in countless newspapers, magazines, radio shows, Mark describes one of his highlights of starring in the CH4 show ‘Homemade’ with Dave Berry where he was the resident roving celebrity reporter for one whole series. “Having met the likes of Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Daniel Craig and more A-list stars for the show, it was an incredible experience chatting with them.”

Mark Boardman will be joining the likes of Larry Lamb, Leigh Francis, Richard Arnold and Heather Small on the Monty Python’s ‘Spamlot’ SNA hall of fame for one night only in-front of 700+ people later this month.

“The team backstage said that the role of ‘Sir Not Appearing’ is usually played by one of the ensemble however they often throw it open to special guest stars such as celebrities and/or comedians who can come on and kill with that role. In other words, for me to get the opportunity to do it was very special indeed.”

A small walk on part: Sir Not Appearing in Spamalot West End at The Playhouse Theatre.

In this acclaimed new production of the show, audiences across the UK have been treated to an array of surprise guest celebrities treading the boards. The entrance of Sir “Not Appearing in the Show” gets a great giggle every night and gives notable people a moment they’ll never forget!

“I can’t wait to be in full costume (including stick-on beard and moustache) as I take to the stage with the merry band of King Arthur, Patsy, Lancelot, Robin, Galahad and the gang”.
