Joe Swash and Zara Holland lands spots on The Jump 2016

Since becoming the latest celebrity to join The Jump 2016 line up, Joe Swash’s fans are a bit worried, even though the course has been simplied with extra crash mats in place, reveal MarkMeets.

With Linford Christie being the latest star to be forced to withdraw due to injury and no longer be taking part on the Austrian alps, the 34 year-old former EastEnders actor turned TV presenter has been in training as a replacement after 5 of the starting line up were ruled out.

With Joe stepping up to join the show, some fans are understandably a bit concerned and have told him NOT to take part.

Following the crashes at the weekend, The Jump bosses have brought back axed James ‘Arg’ Argent with Channel 4 ordering a safety review of the show ahead of Sunday’s latest live show with serious injuries to Rebecca Adlington, Tina Hobley, Mark-Francis Vandelli and Beth Tweddle.

Following the series of departures, The Wanted’s Tom Parker, entrepreneur Heather Mills, Miss Great Britain Zara Holland and Joe have been sworn in as replacements.

Meanwhile former contestant Ola Jordan has defended the programme despite it leaving her in need of surgery and six months worth of physio on her leg after a nasty crash last year.

“It’s an incredibly dangerous sport,” she told This Morning. “My accident could have happened on holiday. I signed up to a dangerous sport. No one pushed me into it and the injury was my fault.

“The aftercare was amazing. I was operated on by the most amazing surgeon. I had physio for five hours a day for six months, with cars provided from my house in Kent.”

However Ola confessed: I shouldn’t have signed up in the first place because I’m a dancer. My leg is still not 100%. It’s my stupidity. Maybe I shouldn’t have signed up.”

The Jump continues on Channel 4 this Sunday.
