Got a Tip? Tell MarkMeets
Send a news tip to MarkMeets if you have a story you think deserves attention. Perhaps you witnessed something, know about an unreported development or have information that could help us investigate a story.
We welcome relevant tips across entertainment, music, film, television, business, culture and the other subjects we cover. You do not need a finished article or a polished pitch. Start by telling us what you know and why it matters.
Share Your Story
Use the submission form below to contact our editorial team. Your name and email address are optional, although providing a way to contact you can help us ask questions and check details.
If you want your identity kept confidential, say so clearly in your message. We take requests for confidentiality seriously, but an ordinary website form should not be treated as a guarantee of anonymity or secure communication.
What Makes a Useful News Tip?
The strongest tips give us specific information we can check. Where possible, explain:
- What happened: Describe the event or issue in straightforward terms.
- Who was involved: Identify the relevant people or organisations.
- When and where: Include dates, locations and a timeline if helpful.
- How you know: Tell us what you witnessed yourself and what you learned from someone else.
- What supports the story: Explain whether documents, photographs, recordings, public records or other witnesses could help establish the facts.
- Why it matters: Tell us who is affected and what you believe needs attention.
If there are details you are unsure about, make that clear. You do not need to fill gaps with guesses. A short, accurate account is more useful than a dramatic version that is difficult to verify.
Documents and Supporting Information
If you have material relevant to your tip, describe what it shows and how it relates to the story. Include public links where useful, and explain the context of any quotations or screenshots.
Please avoid including passwords, financial account details or unnecessary personal information about yourself or others. If material is particularly sensitive, describe its nature first so we can discuss an appropriate next step.
What Happens After You Submit?
Messages are reviewed regularly. Our editorial team may assess the information, look for supporting evidence or contact you for clarification if you have provided contact details.
Submitting a tip does not guarantee publication. We need to consider accuracy, relevance and whether there is enough information to take the story further.
We cannot promise an individual response to every submission. If you send further information about an earlier tip, include enough context for us to connect the messages.
