MarkMeets Celebrity Interviews: Film, Music and Television Stars
MarkMeets celebrity interviews take readers from London’s red carpets to music festivals, backstage conversations and dedicated interview sessions. Our team has met, interviewed, photographed and chatted with thousands of performers and public figures since 2002.
From Olivia Rodrigo and Sabrina Carpenter to Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet, we speak with the people whose work audiences are watching, streaming and discussing. We also continue to champion emerging performers, giving new talent space alongside established stars.
Some conversations happen in the rush of a premiere arrivals line. Others give us time to discuss a new album, a challenging role or the experience of building a career. Together, they form more than two decades of entertainment reporting.

On the Red Carpet
A red-carpet interview calls for preparation and a clear question. There may only be a short window before a performer moves to the next reporter, so our team works to make that time count.
We ask about the production being launched, the people involved and the decisions behind the finished work. The result might be a brief insight into a performance, a reflection on filming or a moment of humour between arrivals.
Our interviews sit alongside photography, event reports and updates in the MarkMeets film premiere section. For forthcoming dates, visit our London film premiere listings.
Backstage and at Music Festivals
Music interviews have been part of MarkMeets from the beginning. Our team has spoken with artists around live performances, release campaigns and festival appearances, covering both the work on stage and the preparation behind it.
Backstage conversations offer a different setting from a formal press day. Artists may be preparing to perform, reflecting on a set or discussing what comes next. We bring that context into our coverage rather than treating every conversation as the same kind of interview.
Our Wretch 32 interview at Camp Bestival is one example from our festival archive.

Filmmakers and the People Behind the Production
Our interest extends beyond the familiar face on the poster. Directors, writers and other creatives can explain how a project took shape, what proved difficult and why a story mattered to them.
For a filmmaker perspective, read Sean Hogan discussing The Dark Gets In. The supplied Q&A explores grief, improvisation and the approach behind the horror feature.
Our interview section includes original MarkMeets conversations, supplied interviews and reporting on interviews conducted elsewhere. Individual articles provide the relevant attribution and context.
Giving Emerging Talent a Platform
We have never limited our interviews to people who already attract headlines. MarkMeets has supported emerging musicians since 2002, giving performers opportunities to introduce themselves and explain their work.
Our Featured Artist programme connects that commitment with dedicated profiles, interviews and promotion. Some conversations take place around a debut release; others follow an artist as their career develops.
For readers, these interviews offer the chance to discover someone early. For performers, they provide space to tell a story that might otherwise struggle to find attention.
