Jennifer Lopez may have millions in the bank and yet she still likes to mix things up by shopping at designer stores and on the High Street.
JLo has stunned fans by revealing she shops at U.S. discount store Marshalls.
She confesses she loves bargain hunting like any other shopper and when she has downtime, she enjoys hitting the racks for clothes for herself.
“I do shop at Marshalls, why not?” she laughed during a TV chat with U.S. funnyman Jimmy Kimmel on Monday (04Jan16). “You won’t recognise me, I don’t think. Maybe you might.”
Jennifer visited the chat show host wearing a stunning metallic jumpsuit, and despite her claims of discount shopping, the 46-year-old’s Michael Kors ensemble cost over £6500 ($9536), and the mother-of-two doesn’t see why she can’t mix her designer threads with high street items, adding: “I like shopping at the bargain places. I like mixing things up.”
Jennifer showcased her love of fashion when she acted as host at the American Music Awards in November (15), going through 10 costume changes, but the singer recently admitted her quick wardrobe switch-ups came at a price.
“I had scratches and bruises everywhere from trying on so much stuff,” she told InStyle magazine.
However, the experience won’t put the Get Right singer off sporting multiple costumes during her upcoming Las Vegas residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino – she is planning to put on an all-out extravaganza for her fans.
“When you think of Diana Ross, Cher, or Barbra Streisand, it’s their costumes that became their signature,” she told Ocean Drive mag.
The star will work with her styling team Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn and fans can expect to see designs from the likes of Zuhair Murad, Balmain and Versace onstage.
