The stars of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire turned out November 11th for the film’s world premiere in London.
Stars including Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth took to the red carpet in Leicester Square ahead of the screening of the highly anticipated sequel.
Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence reveals she almost failed to make it to London for the premiere of her latest film. The actress – who returns as Katniss Everdeen in the second film to be adapted from the Suzanne Collins novels – said she made an emergency dash across the US to pick up her passport.
“It was miserable,” she added.
The Oscar-winner had to follow 12 hours behind the rest of the cast – who flew into the UK in style on a private jet.
The sequel to The Hunger Games is expected to be one of the year’s biggest blockbusters.
It was The Hunger Games Catching Fire Red carpet London Film Premiere in London’s Leicester Square last night with an A-list cast.
Jennifer Lawrence wore a long white and floral backless dress from Christian Dior in the in the chilly weather as she signed autographs for fans with gelled back hair.

She’s a supporting castmember to leading lady Jennifer Lawrence in The Hunger Games films.
However, at the world première of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Monday night, it was Elizabeth Banks winning the red carpet fashion wars with her stunning yellow ballgown.
As Jennifer’s unusual backless tunic-style dress divided critics, Elizabeth went for traditional Hollywood style in a billowing Jason Wu Resort 2014 creation with cut-out sections highlighting her trim waist.
The mother-of-two, 39, brought some much colour to the soggy wet carpet on a dark and rainy night, which saw thousands of fans braving the cold for a glimpse of their idols at the Leicester Square premiere.
Elizabeth said: ‘Effie require a total transformation, we spent 3-4 hours everyday but it’s worth it. There’s no Effie without all that.
‘I love to disappear. I love to see her and not me on the screen.’
Singer Ellie Goulding continued the running theme on her red carpet attire at The Hunger Games: Catching Fire premiere on Monday in a black lacy dress that didn’t leave much to the imagination.
But she seemed happy and comfortable despite the revealing nature of her outfit and a glimpse of side boob on show.
