Lewis Capaldi announces Netflix documentary ‘How I’m Feeling Now’

Lewis Capaldi announces Netflix documentary as West Lothian star goes back to his roots

When Lewis Capaldi makes an announcement, you just know he’ll go all out… and his latest is no exception.

‘This documentary has been a labour of love and the outcome is a really eye-opening picture of who Lewis is. The singer, 26, has been followed by a camera for the last seven years in a bid to capture his rise to fame.

The Scottish singer-songwriter surprised fans by sharing that he’s made a Netflix documentary, which drops next month titled: ‘How I’m Feeling Now’

Of course, in true Lewis style, the 26-year-old couldn’t have just written a tweet – he had to dress up as the most iconic characters from series on the streaming site.

Honestly, if this doesn’t make you want to watch the doc, nothing will.

Starting off strong in the announcement video shared online, the Bruises hitmaker is as pretty as a princess in a Bridgerton-style gown, complete with a golden tiara.

Next up is Squid Game, with Lewis completely unidentifiable in one of the Masked Men outfits – but it’s soon clear who’s underneath as he flashes the finger guns.

After the Korean drama comes Tiger King, with the Pointless vocalist the spitting image of Tiger King’s Joe Exotic in the whacky shirt, blonde shaggy wig, and moutsache.

Then we have Orange is the New Black, which sees Lewis channelling one of the inmates in an orange jumpsuit.

His penultimate look is a Money Heist bank robber, before finally transforming into Wednesday Addams in a black mini dress and gothic wig.

No one does it like Lewis Capaldi.

We do get to see the award-winning star as his normal self at the end, though, as he pops up in a hoodie to share that his documentary is titled How I’m Feeling now.

He added in an Instagram caption: ‘I made a NETFLIX DOCUMENTARY!!! it’s called “How I’m Feeling Now” and comes out on April 5th! pretty terrified for everyone to see this if I’m quite honest, but I’m so so proud of it .

Naturally, fans were living for the spoof, hailing it the ‘best promo ever’, and already counting down the days until the documentary drops.

‘Voting for you to wear the first fit on tour soon’, another joked, clearly impressed by his Bridgerton attire.

It may only be March but 2023 has been a stellar year for Lewis so far, as he’s performed to thousands of fans up and down the country on his arena tour.

He also bagged himself a smooch from Harry Styles at the Brits, and is set to take to the stage at Radio 1’s Big Weekend this May.

Lewis Capaldi’s documentary, How I’m Feeling Now, lands on Netflix on April 5
