TV star Michelle Keegan is confident her new autumn/winter collection for Lipsy will make women feel sexy and ”comfortable” even on those ”bloated days” due to the strategic detailing she’s included on her designs.
The 28-year-old actress – whose autumn/winter collection goes on sale on today – says her main objective when she’s designing pieces for the fashion brand is to create clothes that will make ladies feel ”comfortable.”
Chatting to FEMAIL, she said: ”No matter what anyone wears, as long as they feel comfortable and confident, it shows. That’s when fashion is at its best.
”My best-selling garments always have strategically placed lace, ripples across the stomach and things like that. Touches that help during those bloated days.”
The former Corrie star says her new range will be packed with stunning evening looks, sophisticated day time items and every day pieces to last the whole season.
She explained: ”You’re going to see a lot more darker, warmer colours like blacks and greys for winter.
”In this one we’ve gone for dressy-dresses that you can wear to Christmas parties or dinner dates and we’ve got really cool knits for the cold weather.”
Although she designs the collection on her own, the brunette beauty says her new husband Mark Wright, whom she tied the knot with in May, checks out the range afterwards.
She said: ”I design the collection on my own but he comes and sees it once it’s all done.”
