Squid Game hasn’t been confirmed for season two just yet, however series creator Hwang Dong-hyuk is already thinking ahead.
The 50-year-old film director has been tight-lipped about a second season, but revealed what topics need addressing if the viral Netflix hit continues.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Hwang said: ‘There are some other stories in the series that have not been addressed. For example, the story of the police officer and the story of his brother, The Front Man.
‘I could also go into the story of that recruiter in the suit who plays the game of ddakji with Gi-hun and gives him the card in the first episode.’
‘I’ll just say there are a lot of possibilities out there for season 2 storylines,’ he added.
Season 1 ends with main character Gi-hun turning back and not getting on the plane to the States, where he was supposed to reunite with his daughter.

Instead, Gi-hun decides to call the number on the card in order to confront the Front Man about the games and why it is continuing to happen.
The Korean drama follows desperate, debt-ridden contestants who are offered the chance to win millions by taking part in a mysterious tournament.
There’s a cash prize of 45.6 billion won (£28m) at stake if the contestants manage to win a series of games traditionally played by children.
Squid Game was watched by 111m users in its first 28 days, knocking period drama, Bridgerton off the top spot.
The nine-part Korean drama, written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, has had everyone talking over the last few weeks.
Lee Jung-jae leads an all-star cast in the series, playing Seong Gi-hun, alongside Park Hae-soo, HoYeon Jung, Anupam Tripathi and Oh Young-soo.
Squid Game is available to stream on Netflix.
