Carey Mulligan Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 3 With Marcus Mumford

Carey Mulligan is ‘expecting third child’ with husband Marcus Mumford

Baby joy for Carey Mulligan and husband Marcus Mumford!

The two-time Oscar nominee is pregnant with her and the Mumford & Sons frontman’s third child. Mulligan’s rep confirmed.

A day earlier, the actress attended the star-studded AFI Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, wearing a long black caped dress. Inside, she was photographed holding a mineral water bottle while chatting with Zoe Kazan, her co-star in the 2022 movie She Said. The film was honored at the event.

Mulligan, 37, and Mumford, 35, have been married since 2012 are already parents to daughter Evelyn Grace, 7, and son Wilfred, 5.

The She Said star, 37, married the Mumford and Sons rocker in a secret wedding in a converted barn on a Gloucestershire farm in 2012, with stars including Sienna Miller and Colin Firth said to be among the guests.

The loved-up couple had been childhood pen pals who had lost touch but reconnected as adults, becoming engaged after a five-month whirlwind romance.

The An Education actor and the Little Lion Man singer, 35, currently share daughter Evelyn, seven, and son Wilfred, five, and are thought to be expecting another bundle of joy to their family.

The Promising Young Woman star and the I Will Wait performer keep details about their relationship private, but do cuddle up at red-carpet events together.

In 2021, the popstar hilariously gatecrashed Carey’s episode of US sketch show Saturday Night Live during her opening monologue.

After she made gags, including about her likeness to fellow actor Michelle Williams, Marcus popped up with an acoustic guitar, joking he left their children in the care of ‘the Sons’.

He proceeded to volunteer to be the week’s musical guest, a slot already occupied by rapper Kid Cudi.

‘If they end up needing anyone, I’m very happy to do it,’ he offered.

In July, Carey was seen stealing a kiss from Bradley Cooper while filming for their new movie Maestro in Central Park.

The actress recalled the challenges of raising two small children while working. “The reality of my life now is that I have two kids under the age of five,” she said, “and I’m lucky if I can learn my lines and show up.”

That year, Mulligan was nominated for her second Oscar, for her leading performance in the film Promising Young Woman.
