Cheryl Cole finds romance with new French lover

Returning X Factor judge Cheryl Cole may have a new man in her life, after she was reported to have started dating a French restaurateur.

Cheryl and 33-year-old Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini are understood to have been on a string of dates in the French city of Cannes, where MARKMEETS exclusively revealed she would be attending the world-famous film festival this week.

As well as attending a number of showbiz parties, the couple were also photographed together at Fernandez-Versini’s Cosy Box restaurant in the Riviera city.

The Sun quoted an unnamed friend of Cole’s as saying: “She’s really happy. They’re an item and Cheryl is ready to find love again.

“After a difficult few years, she wants to get back out there and start having some fun.”

The source went on to add: “Things are going brilliantly in her professional life — she has a new song out soon and can’t wait to return to The X Factor.

“But at the end of the day she wants to be in a relationship because that is what will make her really happy.”

The singer’s spokesperson refused to confirm or deny any new relationship, telling the paper: “We do not comment on Cheryl’s personal life.”
