20-year-old pop singer Conor Maynard gets inundated with countless proposals from his female supporters on a daily basis and always jokingly says he will marry them because they are never expecting that response from him.
“Every day I have to sift through all the marriage proposals but I’ve got a new thing with that because if people propose to me then I say yes because they are not expecting a yes.
”Then it’s like, ‘Oh well, you had your chance. Flopped it. So now we’re not married unfortunately.’ ”
While Conor finds it strange to receive so many proposals, he was also recently left shocked when a woman told him she had got pregnant while his song was playing in the background.
He added: ”One girl who was about to have a baby told me her baby was made to my song. That was a weird.
”Nobody has named their child after me yet but I’ve had friends who have tattooed song lyrics on them and stuff. That feels weird but at the same time it’s like, ‘Wow, that is real dedication.’ ”
