Geordie Shore cast from shags to riches

Geordie Shore first broadcast back in May 2011 as the British spin-off of the American show Jersey Shore and now we’re approaching series 11.

Let’s take a look at how far the main cast have come.

Geordie Shore

When you think about Geordies, entrepreneurial spirit isn’t necessarily the first thing that comes to mind. But if you cast your mind wayy back to the look on those oh-so-fresh young faces, when Anna first surprised the housemates with the fact that they’d be working during their time in the house, they were (almost) as excited as when they first saw that the fridge was full of Jäger.

Though admittedly they developed something of a love-hate relationship with Anna and her work, nobody knows the power of the graft like a Geordie and as they rose to fame, becoming some of the biggest names on television, this desire to work and build their profiles remained. From clothing ranges and hair extensions to nightclubs and fitness companies, the Geordies do so much more than just get mortal and buck.

The Geordies’ unwavering self-belief (sometimes maybe too much) and carefully constructed personal brands used Geordie Shore itself as a platform to launch their own independent empires. Here’s a rundown of all the incredible things our favourite Geordies have achieved outside of the house.

Charlotte

We love Charlotte more than probably just about anyone, but you’d be forgiven for thinking she’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed. She actually is, though; as she proved on Money Talks back in 2013, Charlotte is smart with her money and has put it to good use. She now has her own clothing range and her latest fitness DVD 3 Minute Bum Blitz was the fastest selling fitness DVD ever. Not bad for someone who regularly wets themselves on national television.

Gaz

Gaz

Gaz was the first cast member to rack up a million (pounds, not shags) and he’s been investing wisely. Apart from buying a house for his sister (aww), Gaz hasn’t spent his money on lavish purchases. After identifying a lack of daytime venues in Zante he opened Pure Beach Club, an all-day pool party club. He also owns a clothing store in Newcastle and an electrical company while the rest of his money has been invested. Not just a pretty face…

Vicky

Vicky Pattison has built an impressive career both on and off screen following her departure from Geordie Shore (by the way she’s coming back for the speical, YAY). She has her own show Judge Geordie, a magazine column, clothing range, tanning products, jewellery, fitness line, top 10 charting DVD and books. She’s done it all.

Holly

Given her glorious and ever changing hair, it’s no surprise that Holly has her own range of ‘Colour Rocks’ hair extensions. She also has her own fashion range, ‘Body Bible’ book and a successful modelling career, boasting covers for the likes of FHM and Loaded. Not to mention her ‘Milkshake’ single which had over 100,000 YouTube views in less than 24 hours and reached number 6 in the charts.

James

Nice boy James is best known for his love of all things fitness (as well as his trademark comb-over). Since leaving the show, the Geordie lad has qualified as a personal trainer, and used his fame to set up his own online interactive fitness website called Body Sculpt VT. James wants to help fans achieve their fitness goals affordably, efficiently and quickly. He also has his own clothing range, the modestly named ‘God’s Gift’.
