JLS star Marvin Humes says viewers will love Kylie Mingoue on The Voice 2014

The New Voice UK host Marvin Humes believes viewers will fall in love with Kylie Minogue.

Pop queen Kylie replaces Jessie J alongside Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and fellow new star Ricky Wilson, who joins in place of the outgoing Danny O’Donoghue.

JLS star Marvin has been busy recording the latest audition stages of the show in Manchester this week and teased of popstar’s role on the series: “She’s great man, she’s wicked – you’re gonna love her [and] I’m not just saying it.”

This is former X Factor finalist Marvin’s real first big presenting break, going straight from a guest role on This Morning BBC One prime time, and he’s unsurprisingly quite nervous.

Hosting the show alongside Celebrity Big Brother’s Emma willis, Marvin admitted: “It’s not easy or hard for me, it’s a different area you know.

“Obviously I’m used to getting on stage and singing but now I’m on the other side and hosting a show alongside a fantastic presenter in Emma Willis. I’m learning a lot from her and I’m loving it.”

He added: “It’s great you know I’ve done other shows as well, I’ve been fortunate enough to host This Morning which was great and yeah it’s exciting – it’s a new path for me.”

Recently the star admitted his new role is daunting: “It’s going great but its daunting.

“I’m out of my comfort zone. Emma Willis helping me out, too. I’m lucky to be on there too.”

On the x factor he said: “I think Sam Bailey should win because she’s the best singer.

The Voice UK 2014 auditions start airing in January on BBC One.
