Joey Essex spotted outside Sugar Hut during TOWIE filming

Joey Essex quit The Only Way Is Essex last November to explore other projects.

However, Joey Essex fuelled speculation he may be returning to the show as he was spotted outside the Sugar Hut around the same time as his former co-stars on Friday.

The Fusey store owner, 23, was spotted chatting on his phone outside the Brentwood, Essex nightclub, where his ex-fiancée Sam Faiers and her co-stars had gathered to film for Series 11.

Although a TOWIE spokesperson said he wasn’t shooting scenes for the show, the door was left open for a potential return when he left last year.

‘The door has been left open for me, but I’m not really sure what I want to do. Obviously I am doing my own show.

‘I don’t know if I will be back in time for the next one but maybe in the future, never say never.’

Following his successful turn in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Joey has been filming his own show for ITV2.

As well as his TV commitments, he also runs his own boutique Fusey in Brentwood and does frequent personal appearances at nightclubs across the country.
