The ‘Crazy Love’ hitmaker insists he didn’t mean to ”disrespect women or be insulting to any human being” after posting a pic of woman’s butt online.

Michael Buble apologized for sharing a photo on Instagram in which he commented on a woman’s butt. The singer, who was vacationing in Miami with his wife Luisana Lopilato, uploaded the image using hashtags like “#babygotback” and “#beautifulbum.” See the controversial photo further below.

After being heavily criticized for posting the picture of the private citizen, Buble apologized on Facebook. He wrote, “Anyone who knows me would never misinterpret the message of the photo my wife took in Miami that seems to have caused unexpected rage by some people.” Buble continued, “I do not court controversy. But I realize that a photo that was meant to be complimentary and lighthearted has turned into a questionable issue. For the record, it hurts me deeply that anyone would think that I would disrespect women or be insulting to any human being.” The singer went on to say that he regrets if anyone found the picture “offensive,” because that wasn’t his intention. “Women are to be celebrated, loved, respected, honored and revered. I’ve spent my life believing that and will continue to do so,” wrote Buble.

However the singer was attacked when he posted a photo of himself with a woman in the background wearing a tiny pair of shorts. He captioned the flick, “There was something about this photo Lu took that seemed worthy of Instagram. #myhumps #babygotback #hungryshots #onlyinmiami #picoftheday #beautifulbum.” Check out the photo below, and tell us what you think of Buble’s apology.
