One Direction star Niall Horan says girls make him nervous

The Irish singer from 1D, Niall Horan, 20, said that belonging to the world-famous boyband didn’t stop him feeling anxious about metting and chatting with women.

Asked whether he got nervous around girls he likes, he said: ” Oh yeah! But we don’t see ourselves as famous – it sounds ridiculous because every artist wants to be known as normal. But we really are.

“We’re just five regular guys who were in the right place at the right time.”

Niall, who recently jokingly proposed to Katy Perry, said that bandmate Louis Tomlinson was ” always good to talk to about girls”.

“I’d say we spend about 60 per cent of our time talking about girls!” he said of the band.

“If someone’s having girl trouble, we talk about girls, but if no one is… we sleep!”

One Direction member Niall Horan was mobbed as he attends his nephew’s christening at St Michael’s Church in Mullingar in Ireland where he served as godfather on Saturday.
