Rebecca Ferguson confesses she is happy being single

X Factor star Rebecca Ferguson has insisted that she does not need a boyfriend.

The Liverpudlian beauty had famously dated One Direction heart throb Zayn Malik.

She told the mirror that she gets chatted up when she goes out clubbing.

Rebecca explained: “Some [men] are shy but you get the odd cheeky chappy in Liverpool.

“My friends don’t believe I don’t want a boyfriend, but I’ve got everything I need.

“I can afford a house, a car, I’ve got a good career – why would you want it?”

Ferguson told the newspaper that she has adjusted to her new life in the media spotlight.

Rebecca said: “People moan to me about working in a 9am to 6pm job but some days I work 4am until 11pm.

“It is glamorous, and we get paid s***loads of money so we can’t really moan, but we work hard for it.”

She added, “At first. I rented a huge house. It looked like something off Cribs…

“But was just a bit too glam. I’ve gone back to a normal house in Liverpool now.”

MarkMeets can reveal that Rebecca Ferguson has defended Matt Cardle’s stint in rehab and reveals her kids are the only reason she hasn’t gone off the rails.

“Fame can be a good thing but you can’t get obsessed with it. You can’t become reliant on attention or what people want from you. You have to be happy and content with who you are.”
