The ‘Get Him to the Greek‘ star hauled out of going to the world debut of ‘Brand: A Second Coming’ – which apparently gimmicks insights about his associations with ladies including his ex Katy Perry – at the SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas the previous evening in the wake of conceding he discovered viewing it ”uncomfortable”.

He said in an announcement: ”I relinquish my distraught aspiration to immediate and star in what had turned into a shambles and gave the rules over to [director] Ondi [Timoner], who needed inventive control and to make a narrative about me and my move from a moderately ordinary big name to whatever the hellfire it is I am presently.

”Ondi is an exceptionally wonderful individual and a chief of unbeatable trustworthiness, I assume what I didn’t consider was that in relinquishing the film, I was consenting to be the subject of a memoir.

”After death this is an amazing privilege yet while you’re alive, strangely intrustive and despairing.

”You’d think a narcissist would like simply discussing themselves and their ‘clothes to newfound wealth’, ‘hard luckiness’ story regardless, it felt like, to me, my life was sufficiently hard the first run through round and experiencing it again was difficult and tragic.

”I know Ondi is a craftsman and I’m told the film is great yet for met viewing it was extremely uncomfortable.”

Conceding Russell was miserable with how “”crude”” the last form of the narrative is, Ondi admitted she was stunned by his response to the film.

She said: ”I truly needed him to find a sense of contentment with this film, yet I don’t know whether he’ll ever truly find a sense of contentment with it. It’s so crude thus individual and he’s never let anything like this out previously.

”I mean this is a gentleman who has composed ‘Booky Wook’ and makes a ton of his stand up about his individual life and his shortcomings and his history, yet by one means or another, on film, its an alternate story for him.

”He said to me a few times amid recording, ‘I experienced it as of now. It was sufficiently hard to experience the first run through.”

Russell – who is currently calm in the wake of battling with medication and liquor compulsion in the past – wedded ‘Dim Horse’ hitmaker Katy in 2010 however they got separated after two years.
