The actress, who started out in the Indian film industry before making her transition into Hollywood, also had a very short lived music career where she released a few singles and collaborated with artists like Pitbull and Will.I.Am.

She opened up on what it’s like to be a “tour wife” to musician Nick Jonas and revealed why her own music career “lasted two seconds”.

“[It’s] insane what musicians do. I don’t know how they do it… tour life is really crazy. It’s so hectic. You have late nights, early mornings, you’re travelling to a different city every day and you do it for three months,” Chopra said.

“That’s why my music career lasted two seconds,” she joked. “I was not meant to do that. This rockstar life is… I admire it tremendously. It’s definitely not for the weak-hearted.”

The actress added that even though her music career was short-lived, she loves being a “tour wife” to her Jonas Brothers husband and looks forward to their next tour.

“The tour wife thing, it was the first time I was doing it for the Happiness Begins Tour and it was fun. I love, love, love them on stage. They’re an incredible experience when you watch them live and I don’t get enough of it,” she said.

Currently, the actress is gearing up for her new rom-com Love Again and the new spy thriller series Citadel with Richard Madden which premiered Friday, April 28.

For the six-episode series, which picks up after the fall of the eponymous global spy agency. “Elite agents Mason Kane (played by Bodyguard‘s Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Chopra Jonas) had their memories wiped as they narrowly escaped with their lives,” according to the official logline, and “they’ve remained hidden ever since, building new lives under new identities, unaware of their pasts.” That is, “until one night, when Mason is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Mason seeks out his former partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them around the world in an effort to stop Manticore, all while contending with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous-yet-undying love.”

The cast also includes Lesley Manville as Dahlia Archer, Osy Ikhile as Carter Spence, Ashleigh Cummings as Abby Conroy, Roland Møller as Anders and Davik Silje, and Caoilinn Springall as Hendrix Conroy.
