US star Jessica Simpson wants to be in shape for her wedding so she’ll be the “most beautiful bride”.

Jessica Simpson is said to be on a “mission” to keep her trim figure.

The 33-year-old star has shed a staggering amount of weight after giving birth to her second child, son Ace, born last year. She is set to tie the knot with her fiancé Eric Johnson later this year and is thought to be making a return to the music industry as well.

“Jessica is on a mission – she doesn’t just want to come back with a great body for her singing career, she also wants to be the most beautiful bride too,” a source told British magazine Closer.

Jessica is thought to have weighed in at a UK size 16 after welcoming Ace, and now stands at a petite size 6. The blonde beauty, who also had daughter Maxwell, is reportedly working hard to stay in shape.

“Jess wants to look incredible on her wedding day. She’s lost a stone over the past six weeks on a low-carb, high-protein diet and has upped her juicing and exercise regime,” the source added. “She’s been doing cardio four mornings a week as well as Pilates sessions and some work with weights. She’s really happy with her shape for her big day.”

Jessica is also regularly spotted walking around near her home as part of her exercise regime.

“She likes walking in her neighbourhood and people often see her doing that. She really enjoys the workouts. [Because] she loves it, she’s consistent. It’s the one constant in her life that she’s always done no matter what’s happening,” an insider previously revealed.
