The Little Mix singer debuted her new look last week and since then has even named her hair posting online “Today’s candy dream by my fairy godfathers”.
Alongside bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall, Jesy performed a storming set of hits including Black Magic and Power.
Taking to Instagram to show off her new look, Jade uploaded a photo of herself gazing into the camera, accessorising her candy floss-coloured hair with high waisted jeans and a white crop top.
Little Mix ladies have hit back at critics who slam their raunchy stage costumes, talking backstage at Saturday’s concert Jesy and Jade hit back at their haters. Little Mix girls are often slammed for their raunchy stage outfits, with critics pointing out they have a largely young fan base.
“I say – Sod off!” Jesy laughed when British newspaper Metro asked if she had anything to say to the band’s critics.
“We wear what we wear and we love it. We’re confident in ourselves and I think that should be praised,” Jade added.
“We are who we are and as long as we’re comfortable and happy, that’s all that matters.”
Leigh-Anne also had her say, explaining that it’s hard to perform their energetic routines with too many clothes on.
“It’s really hard to dance when we’re wearing lots of stuff. Do you know what I mean? It’s more airy and comfortable to move!” she stated.
For the red carpet photocall the British girl band looked relatively demure in their wardrobe choices, but quickly shed the clothes when they took to the stage.
