Rita Ora: Fashion is expressive

23-year-old singer Rita Ora isn’t just known for her great voice having found her identity through fashion. The star’s beauty and unique sense of style have landed her many endorsements including teaming up with Adidas on a line of sporty pieces and says clothes helped her find out who she is.

“Fashion gives people a sense of identity through expression of clothes and appearance. You can wear things that mean a lot to you, all my jewellery is from my mother or grandmother and gifts,” she explained to GLAM4GOOD.

“I wear a ring for good luck, for example, when I perform! Fashion gives me the confidence to look and feel great.”

Rita has also signed a beauty deal with Rimmel and is the latest celebrity to front their campaigns. She’s known for her trademark eyeliner and red lips but Rita believes beauty comes from a deeper place.

“True beauty is knowing who you are and believing in yourself. Happy people know their purpose, have courage to fight for it and strength to keep going,” she revealed.

Today the singer took to her Instagram page to post a picture of herself in an Adidas hooded shirt and matching sweatpants with colourful trainers. She teased that soon her fans will be able to get their hands on similar clothing.

“Rita for Adidas!! It’s so close do you want yours bots?!! #Botsuniform @adidasoriginals #itsnearlytime #argghhhhhh (sic),” she captioned the shot, referencing her fans’ nickname ‘Ritabots’.
