The Best Street Style revealed at Seoul Fashion Week Fall 2022

Seoul’s first in-person fashion week in years went ahead with the faithful fashion crowd still viewing exhibits housed at the city’s Museum of Craft Art and Han Collection to see the week’s best hybrid collections. Minimalism and streetwear continue to trend in Seoul, with black as the color of choice. Hints of gothic and punk style are emerging as well. Seoul Collection, which is a series of top Korean designers’ fashion show, it is one of the largest fashion business events in Korea. First held in 2000, the Collection has become the most distinguished collection among all along with the growth of the Korean fashion industry.

GENERATION NEXT

‘Generation Next’ has established its prestige of fostering up-and-coming designers. The participants are restricted to designers of independent fashion brands that have one to five years of short history. Presented with uncommon perception and unique ideas, the collection serves as a gateway for the next generation designers.

Seoul Collection will feature 33 colorful fashion shows by Korea’s top designers

The “Trade Show,” a gathering for professional order negotiations, will also be held for the promotion of businesses run by Seoul fashion designers and their advancement into the global market. A total of 120 brands will participate in the “Trade Show” with additional participation by over 500 local and overseas buyers. 135 buyers from the twelve Asian countries with the most purchasing power were invited, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, and Dubai. The “1:1 Business Meetings” between participating designers and buyers will actively support the advancement of excellent fashion items into the global market.

As Seoul Fashion Week is expected to gain the attention of local and foreign fashionistas, the event will not only feature fashion shows, but it will become a forum that dives into the future of fashion and seeks a direction for growth to attract citizens. The forum will be open for all citizens to participate.
