A-Listers Fail to Get Lucky in Las Vegas

It must be hard being a celebrity. While A-listers often live in luxury most of us can only dream of, the pressure of fame can cause some notorious meltdowns. Sometimes this happens at casinos in Las Vegas and results in the rich and famous being banned from the bright lights of the Bellagio and others.

Las Vegas Casino Get Lucky

Such incidents, along with the rise in popularity of online casino destinations, have created a situation where you are now just as likely to find your favourite celebs playing online at the Get Lucky casino, where benefits include loyalty points and 24-hour support, along with safe, secure transactions.

Online casino sites allow celebrities, and the rest of the public, to enjoy the online casino experience in complete privacy, while also feeling safe in the knowledge that their finances and identities are protected from the prying eyes of the world.

Here are a few well-known names who might wish they had stayed at home and played online rather than venturing out to the tables.

5) Allen Iverson

Allen Iverson is quite rightly acknowledged as one of the finest defensive players in the history of basketball. However, the former Philadelphia shooting guard is just as notorious for his erratic behaviour both on and off the court, having clashed with the police on several occasions.

However, Iverson just doesn’t seem to get on with casino managers and is currently banned from entering any gambling joint in the city of Detroit. This comes as a result of using bad language, insulting other players, hurling chips at dealers, and for his refusal to return $10,000 in overpaid chips.

4) Derren Brown

British illusionist, Derren Brown, is a proven wiz with a deck of cards in his career on both TV and stage, but finds it practically impossible to gain entry to casinos. Fearing for their livelihoods, casino managers at the Broadway Plaza Casino in Birmingham informed Brown that they would not permit him to play Blackjack tables back in May 2013.

3) One Direction

The most successful musical export of modern times, the cheeky chaps in One Direction found themselves on the wrong side of casino management in Las Vegas back in 2012 as they were all underage – the legal gambling age in the state of Nevada is 21.

On the other side of the world in Perth, Australia, Harry Styles was subjected to a ‘severe dressing down’ by the manager of the Pearl Room casino in 2013. Apparently, Styles overspent at the Blackjack tables.

2) Lil’ Wayne

Back in 2010, rap star Lil’ Wayne managed to receive a lifetime ban from the Wynn Casino in Las Vegas. The casino management never did disclose precisely what Lil’ did to deserve this lifetime exclusion, but said that they he would be forcibly removed from the premises if he ever tried to return.

1) Paris Hilton

At number one on our list is the heiress and socialite Paris Hilton. Hilton has been evicted from multiple casinos in her time, but it was a particular incident back in 2006 that brings her to the top of this list. She received a ban from a casino owned by the Hilton brand after losing a £175,000 Bentley in a high-stakes game of poker!
