Free Music Download - Astrid's Tea Party 'What’s In It For Me' new single

Astrid’s Tea Party from Brighton UK are about to launch a new single, called ‘What’s In It For Me?’ released December 1st but guess what!! You can download it below for FREE in a world exclusive on MarkMeets.

Described recently as a new-breed Roisin Murphy, comparisons to Charli XCX are also never far away. Astrid is fresh off supporting Saint Motel at a sold out 100 Club in London last month.

As one of the UK leader’s in artist promotion, MarkMeets media are proud to support Astrid (who is one of our one’s to watch for 2015).

A high production track with a funky beat mixed with a cool dance vocal from Astrid and the band MarkMeets

Shaped from the wreckage of a thousand destructive weekenders, born not out of the need to ‘change the world,’ but something far more important – to change the record. Brighton based electro-dance rock band Astrid’s Tea Party have returned to the music scene after spending several years behind the scenes harnessing their craft for the larger stage. Channelling songs of betrayal, paranoia, substance abuse, love and hate all making for the perfect soundtrack to those oh, so troubled times.

What’s in it for me is the debut single that is a jumpy glam rock influenced track. Featuring bouncy synthesisers, a heavy guitar, soaring drumbeat and the kind of driving, rapid bassline that can only come out of an 80s synth pop-inspired single. Bewitching, front woman Astrid is a mix of Roisin Murphy on overdrive with an underlying Charli XCX pop-punk attitude. With a manifesto to turn dreams into nightmares, and nightmares into dreams, making your reality the first casualty in the war against normality.

We can let you to expect a whooping cool EP due out in 2015. ‘What’s in it for me’ is a great addition to the modern electro-dance rock family tree.

Astrid delivers the narrative of the song with her killer credentials Mark Boardman

The single will be available for sale and download Monday 1st December 2014.

There’s a lot more to follow from this one, so keep your eyes peeled and in the meantime enjoy the download!!

This is the featured artists first single so please get behind it and share across all social channels!!
