Jonas Brothers honoured with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

The Jonas Brothers have been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas unveiled the 2,745th star as part of a ceremony staged in Los Angeles on Monday, with the siblings joined at the event by family and friends.

Addressing the crowd, Kevin noted that he was “overwhelmed” by the recognition.

“We are honoured to be standing here today to be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” he said. “This is a testament to the love and support of our fans, our family, and our friends who have been with us every step of the way. Thank you to everyone who has shown up, and even flown in, for this moment. We are so grateful to everyone who has made this possible, from our label to our management, to the media, and of course, most importantly, our fans. You have been the driving force behind everything we do, we couldn’t have done this without you. So, thank you,” the 35-year-old continued, before adding: “Oh, and to Joe and Nick, couldn’t have been here without you! This is pretty awesome.”

Kevin also singled out his wife Danielle Jonas and daughters Alena, eight, and Valentina, six, for their support.

Elsewhere, Joe thanked his family for their “unwavering support and love” and dedicated the award to his parents, wife Sophie Turner, and their two children.

“This journey has been a wild ride and we are so grateful to have the opportunity to share this passion for music, for so long, with the world,” he smiled. “We’ve been through many ups and downs, but through it all, we’ve remained brothers and have stayed true to our passion for music. We’d like a moment to thank our parents for their unwavering support and love, they’ve always been our biggest cheerleaders. Kevin and Nick, I love you like brothers. Heck, we’ll be here 30 more years because this is just the beginning.”

Jonas Brothers’ Sixth Album Details: Title, Release Date

The Jonas Brothers’ forthcoming sixth album features elements of classic ’70s pop and Americana with a nod to the Bee Gees.

Get ready, because a new Jonas Brothers album is on the way! After reuniting and releasing their “Happiness Begins” album in 2019, the brothers have been teasing a new project since 2020. Now, we finally have a name and a release date. The brothers received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Jan. 30, and in their acceptance speech, Nick revealed some key details. “We are excited to announce today that our new album, ‘The Album,’ will be coming out 5 May,” he said, adding that “we can’t wait to see you on tour later this year.”

The brothers have since been heavily teasing new music for some time now. Following the release of their 2020 single “What a Man Gotta Do,” Kevin, Joe, and Nick hit the Grammys stage to perform a brand-new track titled “Five More Minutes.” As if that wasn’t exciting enough, the brothers eventually revealed that the new tracks are part of a “forthcoming album.” They also released a collaboration with Marshmello in 2021 titled “Leave Me Before You Love Me.”

During a stop on “Live With Kelly and Ryan” in July 2022, Kevin said they’ve been working on the new album for “a couple of years now.” He teased, “We’re the most proud of this music that we’ve ever been about anything we’ve ever done.” When asked about a possible release date, Kevin said, “It’s hard to say. We’re finishing it up . . . I actually don’t know.”

In a May 2022 interview with Kelly Clarkson, Nick also expressed similar sentiments, saying the material is his “favorite stuff we’ve ever done.” He added, “It’s basically an evolution of the sound in a way I think is really natural for us and feels like a great next step.” In a September 2022 interview Joe echoed their sentiments, saying the band’s new music marks a “whole new era.”
