Rihanna and F1 racing champ Lewis Hamilton are close friends

The ‘Diamonds’ hitmaker and Formula One racing driver were spotted together on Saturday (25.07.15) at New York restaurant Da Silvano before heading to a nightclub and have reportedly been dating for months.

A source said: ”They’ve had a flirtation for years and have always fancied each other, but since May this year they’ve been talking a lot. Finally their schedules allowed them to spend a weekend in the same part of the world andthey made the most of it.”

”They are both really busy but Rihanna has asked him to come to Rock in Rio in September so he can see her perform and spend some time together.”

The couple set rumours flying after meeting at the Met Gala in New York earlier this year.

An insider who spotted the 27-year-old beauty told The Sun on Sunday: ”That’s when things between them started heating up.

They started talking on text and it became constant and very flirty.”

And Lewis, 30 – who was recenly linked to model Kendal Jenner – appears to be well and truly over his ex Nicole Scherzinger.

”He is infatuaed with her and thinks she is not only sexy but incredibly funny, although he knows she has a reputation as a heartbreaker.”
