Which Star Wars Character Han Solo, Boba Fett, Bossk, and Chewbacca Would Win in A Fight?

When it comes to Star Wars’ non-Force sensitive creatures, few have as much muscle as Chewbacca and Bossk. The only question is… who is stronger?

When it comes to Star Wars “scum and villainy,” characters like Han Solo, Boba Fett, Bossk, and Chewbacca come to mind. Trandoshans, like Bossk, are known to hunt, enslave, and skin Wookiees from an early age, while Wookiees have distinct ideals to venerate honor and loyalty.

Whilst their rivalry is not what it was in Legends, Bossk and Chewbacca acutely embody the vendetta between most Wookiees and Trandoshans. Bossk longs to obtain Chewbacca’s pelt over any Wookiee’s, but does he have enough skill to get it?

As Han Solo’s best friend, Chewbacca can shoot stormtroopers from great distances; Return of the Jedi even has Chewie shoot an escaping scout trooper on a speeder bike, which was approximately going around 320 mph.

Chewie’s greatest weakness is how big a target he is and how slow he runs. Nonetheless, Chewie is known to swing on vines and climb dangerously high trees without fear, so, depending on his vantage point, Chewie could defeat opponents in seconds. Chewie may not be Star Wars’ most powerful Wookiee, but his aim more than compensates.

Although many Trandoshans are ruthless killers, none are as dangerous as Bossk. In Legends, his gritty origins reveal that he ate his siblings, killed his father, and briefly led the entire Bounty Hunter’s Guild. Like the monster from the Predator films, Trandoshans see in infrared vision, skin their prey, and hunt for sport.

Bossk doesn’t only has excellent aim, but he is far more dangerous up close, where he can use his claws to deal some tremendous damage. He also has a healing factor that allows him to regrow entire limbs. Bossk’s main weakness is his animalistic rage, which often leaves him to stagger when battling more resourceful adversaries. There is also the fact that despite being among Star Wars’ strongest characters, Bossk is just incredibly unlucky.

Chewie’s role as Han Solo’s companion makes him tactful in great escapes. Nevertheless, Bossk is known for his survivalist instincts and hunting abilities. Bossk and Chewbacca would likely spend most time battling from a great distance. Bossk’s Relby-v10 blaster is a long-range rifle and grenade launcher, but Chewbacca’s bowcaster (also a long-range weapon) usually sends his opponents flying.

Chewie would likely win during this battle; Bossk is fast, but he’s certainly not faster than an Imperial speeder bike, which Chewie can efficiently gun down.

If the two survived long enough to bring the fight to a close distance, it’s almost an exactly even match. Bossk’s claws and teeth are brutal weapons, and he can instinctively move swiftly.

However, even though Chewbacca’s strength doesn’t match other Wookies, it would likely be able to keep Bossk off of him. If hurt badly enough, an enraged Chewie may even dismember Bossk’s arms, as Wookiee’s are “known to do.”

The fight would be close no matter the outcome; Bossk and Chewbacca are extraordinarily talented. Nonetheless, the duel would likely end with Chewbacca’s escape. Bossk has an obsession to destroy his Wookiee nemesis, which makes him sloppy. Chewbacca, the most resourceful Wookiee in the galaxy, would likely improvise a plan to escape, reconnect with his allies, or simply unleash his rage and leave Bossk without limbs. Still, it’s likely for Bossk to heal enough for a rematch with Chewbacca, which makes this feud one of the most epic and underrated in Star Wars.
