Colin Firth and Patrick Schwarzenegger were just two of the stars who stepped out for the movie premiere of their new series, The Staircase, held at Museum of Modern Art on Tuesday night (May 3) in New York City.
The two actors met up with their co-stars Parker Posey, Sophie Turner, Dane DeHaan, Michael Stuhlbarg, Olivia DeJonge, Rosemarie DeWitt, Odessa Young, Tim Guinee, Cullen Moss, and Vincent Vermignon on the red carpet premier movie, just days ahead of the series premiere on HBO.
If you’re unfamiliar, The Staircase is a dramatic retelling of the true story of Kathleen Peterson’s murder, which her husband, author Michael Peterson, was convicted of.
The series is also based on the documentary of the same name, which focused on it Michael was truly guilty of the crime or not.
The Staircase debuts on May 5 on HBO.
