Idris Elba attended Sonic the Hedgehog 2 premiere in LA

Idris Elba brought two dates to the Sonic The Hedgehog 2 premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The 49-year-old heartthrob looked relaxed in a casual outfit as he was joined by wife Sabrina Elba, 32, and daughter Isan Elba, 20.

The trio beamed ear-to-ear as they affectionately held hands on the event’s red carpet.

Idris stars in the Sonic The Hedgehog sequel as the title character’s nemesis Knuckles, who joins up with a reemerged Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) to do battle with the blue hedgehog.

Idris shares Isan with his first wife, beauty entrepreneur Hanne Norgaard, whom he was married to from 1999–2003. The entertainer also shares a seven-year-old son with his ex partner, makeup artist Naiyana Garth.

The Harder They Fall actor was dressed in a patterned short-sleeve button-up shirt with navy trimming. He paired it with a set of pleated navy slacks that were cropped at the ankle.

Idris added shiny, black Gucci loafers that were two-toned, with the top of the shoe boasting the legendary brand’s patterned logo.

His shirt highlighted his tattooed arms, and at times he posed wearing a pair of cool black sunglasses.

The model glowed in the brightly colored outfit, which complemented her flawless complexion.

Mrs. Elba’s dress hugged her curves and transitioned to white at the softly pleated skirt’s hemline.

She wore a gold choker around her neck and a pair of gold drop earrings.

Sabrina’s strappy open-toe gold, yellow and silver shoes also showed off her immaculate white pedicure.

Sabrina’s natural beauty stood out with the help of expertly-arched eyebrows and blushed cheeks.

She turned heads with a glossy, nude-colored lipstick that was lined in a soft brown shade.

Idris’ only daughter wowed with her raven hair in long braids that were styled with a center part and tucked behind her ears.

She complemented her breathtaking look with a pair of white flower drop earrings.

The celebrity daughter flaunted a short white manicure and matching pedicure, which she showed off with strappy black heels.

Sonic The Hedgehog 2’s cast members posed for a group photo with the movie’s main characters during the function.

The feature entered the development stage began in May of 2020, shortly after the release of the first Sonic The Hedgehog movie.

Much of the first project’s cast signed on to reprise their original roles over the course of 2021.

Idris Elba was cast as Knuckles last August, and O’Shaughnessey was confirmed to be voicing Tails in December.
